Inspired by Tom Quayle's method for interval training, the 'Guitar Interval Trainer' offers an effective platform for learning and practicing all interval shapes. Its design facilitates systematic mastery of the fretboard's interval structures.

For those who often find themselves wanting to practice but are away from their guitar—such as during a commute—the app provides a practical solution. With its built-in virtual fretboard, practice can take place anywhere and at any time, eliminating the need for physical instrument access.

The application features two modes of operation:

• 'All' mode: Designed to help users memorize interval shapes. The app randomly selects a note on the virtual fretboard and prompts the user to identify all occurrences of specified intervals relative to that note. For example, selecting 'Seconds' and 'Fifths' will generate a random note, with the user then tasked with locating each interval's position.
• 'Any' mode: Ideal for improvisation practice. Given a randomly selected note, users find any occurrence of their chosen intervals around that note.

At any point, the user can reveal the correct answers to verify positions and facilitate learning.
